Reimagine My Community
We will continue to add images to this gallery as we reflect on which ones to include. We choose from prepared and curated images from professional stock image suppliers.
We may also create groupings of related images as we add images
While we are getting started, we will only have a few images in this gallery. This is very preliminary—we are aware of other image galleries and effects (available time is our current challenge). We have minimized visual impact in early stages.
We may add other audio-visual assets, including video or podcasts.
Caveat – Provided captions or titles are not from the stock photo suppliers. We supply a fictional suggestion to reflect what might have occurred or is occurring. These suggestions are interpretative and should not be construed as the digital author’s intention. It is very difficult to know the exact original intentions of the artists or curators. What we know is that there is some intentional capturing of human suffering by the artists or curators.
Our intention is that the images will speak to your heart and encourage you to action to help those suffering.
We strongly encourage you to include a humanitarian aspect when you shape your Community.
Perhaps it is the homeless, hungered, or poverty-stricken. Perhaps there is a pressing need in your hometown. Perhaps it is in another town, city, or country.
Perhaps it is part of your Community. We encourage this to avoid NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard). A true Community is not a walled city to those in need.
Regardless of what you choose to focus your “giving back” on, we believe that your Community will benefit from your care, empathy, compassion and generosity.
Thank you for helping others in need.
Your heartfelt endeavors are appreciated!
WARNING
Graphic images in this gallery can be very disturbing to some viewers.
We understand that many modern media viewers are “used to” challenging imagery. That does not apply to everyone.
Viewer discretion is advised.
