Trek to Build

Reimagine Flow - High-Level

Mobile Users – please see the Core Functions (below explanations on Two Big Steps) for Trek and Build if you find the graphic “bullet points” hard to read.

The Big Pieces

It's like Two Big Steps

We form the idea of a “Trek” or Journey within the Trek part of the site.

Home Page content (including Information and Discover) and Trek work together. The goal is to help you Reimagine a personal Vision for Community.

Trek has a strong emphasis on Reimagination—moving beyond what you might presently imagine for Community. If you already have a great and creative vision for Community, then Trek may serve mainly to refine what you had already envisioned. It may raise new concepts for you as well.

You can find the Main Sections for Trek in the Menu or through the button on the Home Page.

Build

Build is NOT a blueprint for a specific Community or Cohousing style of living. Nor is it a way to start a particular style of Community farm.

Build provides principles for you and your team to work with as you create the Community you intend to build.

Build assumes that you have a reasonably solid vision in mind. Build asks more questions and raises additional topics. As you look at these questions and topics, they help you refine your Community Vision.

Often, website visitors might look for a blueprint of sorts for Cohousing, Intentional Communities or a Community Farm. While Build works towards those “blueprints,” we encourage you to develop your own unique approach. Planned or operating initiatives are within the Idea Center and Showcase.

We see Community as much more than Cohousing or a Community Farm with people working together. Reimagine takes you on a Journey (Trek) of discovery towards Community.

We also encourage use of “tried and true” principles that others have worked through in life and with other projects.

The Home Page (and links from it) describes this in greater detail.
